MIPA is NOT an HMO or PPO. What's more, you don't need to be a member of a health plan, nor do you need to join an organization, in order to use the services of a MIPA member doctor. MIPA was formed in 2006; its rapidly increasing membership currently includes more than 500 of the best independent primary-care and specialty physicians in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Physicians within the MIPA network share a common philosophy that healthcare can be and should be responsive to you, the individual patient.
MidwestDocs is a service provided by the Midwest Independent Practice Association, or MIPA. The mission of MIPA is to preserve, promote and expand independent medical practice to best serve you, the patient. MIPA was developed to encourage the direct relationship between you and your doctor. Through personal consultation with your doctor, you are best equipped to sort out your own healthcare options.
MIPA physicians are located throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, with office locations in the following areas: Albertville, Alexandria, Amery, Apple Valley, Arlington, Austin, Baldwin, Blaine, Bloomington, Brainerd, Buffalo, Burnsville, Cambridge, Cannon Falls, Chanhassen, Chaska, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, Cottonwood, Crosby, Crystal, Deer River, Delano, Duluth, Eagan, Eden Prairie, Edina, Elk River, Ellsworth, Excelsior, Fairmont, Faribault, Fridley, Gaylord, Glencoe, Golden Valley, Grand Rapids, Grantsburg, Greenfield, Hastings, Henderson, Hopkins, Howard Lake, Hudson, Hutchinson, Inver Grove Heights, Lake City, Lake Elmo, Lakeville, Lester Prairie, Little Canada, Mankato, Maple Grove, Maplewood, Mendota Heights, Menomonee Falls, Mequon, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Monticello, Mora, New Brighton, New Prague, New Richmond, New Ulm, North Oaks, North St Paul, North St. Paul, Norwood Young America, Oakdale, Olivia, Osceola, Plymouth, Princeton, Richfield, River Falls, Robbinsdale, Roberts, Rogers, Roseville, Sartell, Shakopee, Shoreview, South St. Paul, Spring Park, Spring Valley, St Louis Park, St. Cloud, St. Croix Falls, St. Joseph, St. Louis Park, St. Paul, Stewart, Stillwater, Vadnais Heights, W.
